Hi, Hola, Hallo, Bonjour! My name is Joffrey Umbdenstock, and I’m a freelance videographer based in Barcelona.
Close to my roots, I like to say that I grew up in a family of carpenters, because I inherited there a strong idea of construction, creation.
I later rediscovered this power of creation through audiovisual production. So, little by little, I started to film and direct simple stories with friends, edits of video games, sports and with time I developed a real passion for video. I love capturing unique moments, adjusting, ordering, retouching them to create a story.
Today I specialize in creating tailored video content that inspires, evokes memories, and leaves a lasting impression.

Curiosity has taken me around the world, connecting me with diverse cultures and inspiring my storytelling as a videographer. Over the past seven years living abroad, I’ve learned to see the beauty in every story and bring that authenticity to my work.
Fluent in Spanish, English, French, German, and a bit of Russian, I connect easily with clients from all backgrounds. Barcelona, with its vibrant mix of cultures and creative energy, continues to inspire me daily. Through video, I strive to capture not just moments, but the emotions and connections that make every story unique.
My Journey to Freelance Videography
After the French Secondary School Diploma, I headed more specifically towards this branch.
I am holder of a two-year technical degree in Video Editing & Special Effects (more details in my CV). This foundation gave me the technical skills and creative insight needed to bring stories to life.
Since 2017, I’ve been pursuing the freelance path. Starting in France, then moving to Berlin, and now calling Barcelona home.
This journey has allowed me to work closely with international clients, tailoring each project to their unique vision. I’ve had the privilege of creating event videos, interviews, promotional content, and more, always with a focus on producing meaningful, high-quality results.
