I. Consultation

II. Pre-Production

Pre-production lays the foundation for a smooth shoot. Depending on the project, this phase may include logistical planning, organizing locations, and ensuring the team is ready.

  • Script and key questions – Developing strategic questions that guide the client to share their experience in an authentic and compelling way.
  • Shoot planning – Coordinating locations, selecting the featured client, and managing logistics for a smooth production. (If needed, I’ll provide a template for image rights releases for your team or clients)
  • Visual structure and storyboard – Defining how interview footage and supporting B-roll will come together to reinforce the message.

III. Production

The day of the shoot is where preparation meets action. A typical production day for a one-person, single-location testimonial video includes:

  • Interview Setup: 30–60 minutes to prepare lighting, sound, and framing.
  • Interview Recording: 30–60 minutes to capture the essence of your story.
  • Transitions and Adjustments: Quick breaks for setup changes, typically 15-30 minutes.
  • B-Roll Footage: Around 60-90 minutes to gather illustrative shots that enhance your video.
  • Wrap-Up: 15-30 minutes for final breakdown and packing.

This approach means that, in about half a day, the production is typically completed. Of course, this can vary depending on the time we have available and the size and complexity of the production.

IV. Post-Production


This is where the testimonial takes shape through strategic editing, keeping the message natural while making it more compelling.

  • Selecting the best moments – I usually share the unedited interview with you so you we can highlight key moments to include in the final video.
  • Video Editing – It corresponds to combining the selected moments with B-roll footage, plus applying sound design, and color grading for a polished and engaging video.
  • Feedback loops – At least 2 rounds are included in my quote to ensure the final version aligns with your expectations and vision.
  • Multi-format optimization – According to our plan, I'll create different versions for social media, add subtitles and more.
