Background
Weex is a relatively young cryptocurrency exchange that’s quickly gaining visibility in the global crypto space. Known for its user-friendly platform and strong liquidity, Weex focuses on making crypto trading smooth and accessible for both newcomers and experienced traders.
The European Blockchain Convention (EBC) in Barcelona is one of Europe’s leading gatherings for blockchain, crypto, and Web3 innovation. It brings together investors, startups, and industry experts to exchange ideas and explore the future of digital finance.
About the Project
For their participation at the European Blockchain Convention 2025 in Barcelona, Weex wanted to capture the energy and fun that defined their presence – from meaningful connections with attendees to the buzz around their “Juggle Challenge” and branded giveaways.
I was in charge of both the photo and video coverage, with the goal of creating a convention recap video that reflected Weex’s dynamic and youthful image.
The edit was designed to match the lively, fast-paced tone of their previous event videos while showcasing the excitement of the convention and the brand’s growing visibility in the crypto scene.
My Role
The brief included filming highlights of their stand, interactions with attendees, and the overall convention vibe, all while ensuring the final video would be edited and delivered within two working days after the convention, allowing them to publish it quickly on their social media channels.
I used a camera on a gimbal, capturing dynamic shots around the booth and short reactions from attendees.
